APPLICATION ESSAYS
Applying to college or graduate school?
I wanted to say a huge thank you and give you an update that out of the three grad schools I ended up applying to, I have been accepted to all of them. I really couldn't have done it without your support and encouragement. I was so nervous to write about such a personal topic in my statement of purpose but you gave me the confidence to just go for it. Thank you again!”
I work with high school students to improve their application essays. As a teacher-down-to-my-bones, I work with young people to discover strong topics, flesh out their ideas, and improve their writing. I offer both general questions about the essay's content as well as offer some guidance with the essay's writing. I won't write your essay for you. But I will show you how to improve your writing so you can learn more skills and take them with you to campus!
I work college graduates apply to graduate school - helping them with their personal statements, essays, and other written elements of their applications. I'm also able to review your CV or resume to make sure you're presenting yourself in the strongest way possible.

- We have a 30-minute phone call to talk about my feedback and specific steps for you to take to improve your essay
- You revise your essay and send the revision to me
- I make final comments on the essay
You have the option to pay for additional feedback rounds and/or additional phone conversations. I want you to feel confident with your writing!

I've also been a judge and panelist for a variety of arts grantors and competitions.
