I first discovered coaching, and the power of a good coach, while participating in a leadership program in 1999. I loved the focus on real change through action, the deep inquiries, and the ways in which accomplishing transformational change were like a multivitamin in all areas of life. Boom!
I am a candid and encouraging coach, fiercely committed to helping my clients get where they want to be. As a working writer and teaching artist, I bring fresh perspectives that cause clients to see and think differently and get unstuck quicker.
Coaching is a commitment we enter not to fix something, but to expand and clarify. We enter the coaching relationship in a spirit of exploration. If we can bring curiosity and a sense of discovery to the task, what might be possible then?

How does it work?
My work is informed by evidence-based research in neuroscience, psychology, and creativity. As part of the process you’ll work through fun, creative exercises that generate potent insights and help you discover new options. Experiencing quick improvements, you’ll stay motivated as you build muscles for lasting, sustainable change. I keep you focused on what matters to you, kick your butt a bit when needed (but with love in my heart!), and cheer you on all along the way. I bring my deep intuition, generous listening, and direct approach to help you gain greater confidence and clarity to achieve lasting results. With me in your corner, you're gonna do this thing!
- Bi-monthly, 45-minute sessions or weekly 30-minute sessions

Coaching packages begin with a 3-month commitment, during which you'll discover insights that help new behaviors take root. Most clients, however, begin to see real progress and make lasting change after 6-9 months of investment.
We can begin coaching for a specific issue (new job) or a stalled project (unfinished novel), or you can choose one of the packages below that we will customize to fit your needs.

We’ll discuss your personal obstacles to success, and you’ll begin to recognize and work with your triggers and roadblocks. You’ll experiment with a variety of techniques and structures to build a solid framework for maintaining a sustainable practice.
